Overview
The Door County Century is neither a race nor a test of stamina. It is intended that all participants ride at their own pace and in a safe and responsible manner.
There is no designated mass start time for the riders. Instead, riders are encouraged to depart between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the day of the ride depending on their anticipated pace and planned distance. Slower riders and those planning to ride the longer routes should depart earlier in the day.
Routes will be marked and Sag Wagons (support vehicles) will be available to assist riders. Rest stops with food and drinks are space throughout the route (see Food & Beverage page) and a Classic Italian Dinner is provided after the ride. The dinner includes an Italian salad, penne pasta, 2-3 different sauces (both with and without meat), garlic bread sticks, parmesan cheese, cherry pie and vanilla ice cream. Finish line beverages include milk, water, lemonade, root beer and Fat Tire beer. Each rider receives a free dinner with their ride registration.
Shower facilities will be available after the ride at the Door County Fairgrounds where the ride ends. Riders should bring their own towels and soap.
